Hello friends, I have seen a lot of Facebook Post wondering what is going in at the Crossroads corner where the old Grogan Store is located.  Well... let me tell you exactly what will be going there at this time.  DOLLAR TREE AND ADVANCED AUTO are the two business that will be developed there with an expected completion date of mid July early August.  There will be 2 additional pads that the developer is looking to bring in some restaurants so if you have any contacts of restaurants that would like to be in the area by all means please have them give me a call.  I will have the site plan posted next week.

Also, behind the Kroger my landlord is building a new 11,000 sq foot retail building.  I do have one user that is very interested and will make the announcement of who it is once all parties agree on terms.

    Debra, what happened to the Aldi that was scheduled to go there? Did they back out?

    Yes they did. Once it went to Corporate they said the it didn't have the traffic count needed

      Thank you for the update! I, too, am disappointed by having a second auto parts store on the corner and another dollar store. We REALLY need a Chick-Fil-A there. It'd be a gold mine. Thanks again!

    I feel like you are building to much. There isnt enough traffic through there for anything. Everything go4s out of business up there. Why tare down the trees to put more stuff up. Havent we built enough up that way? What is the point of it? There is an auto zone up there we dont need advance auto and we dont need a dollar tree. That area is becoming to upper class for what reason?

    With all of the developing in new and established neighborhoods finally resuming, are you aware of any plans to finish building in the Winding Creek section of Bentwater?

      No I'm not sure what the plans are however I have do doubt they will resume building and complete the subdivision based on the strong market

    I really do hope it's not a Dollar store or anything like that. We have enough in the area. I hope it doesn't come to fruition like that "farm to table" restaurant that was supposed to be next to Mellow Mushroom.

    We don't need cheap stores in our area. Your neighborhoods are screaming and pleading for something better than a Dollar Tree. I hope the sale to Dollar Tree was just to get it sold and to make money.

    Would love to see a race trac in the huge lot next to auto zone. I have already contacted them. I think they would do great there. Also sad about the Aldi. I go there but hate travelling to cobb pywy or Hiram.

    - What is going next to Dollar Tree?
    - What is going in the new strip mall behind Kroger?
    - Do you have any info on the road construction (widening?) to Cedarcrest Road?
