Hello friends, I have seen a lot of Facebook Post wondering what is going in at the Crossroads corner where the old Grogan Store is located.  Well... let me tell you exactly what will be going there at this time.  DOLLAR TREE AND ADVANCED AUTO are the two business that will be developed there with an expected completion date of mid July early August.  There will be 2 additional pads that the developer is looking to bring in some restaurants so if you have any contacts of restaurants that would like to be in the area by all means please have them give me a call.  I will have the site plan posted next week.

Also, behind the Kroger my landlord is building a new 11,000 sq foot retail building.  I do have one user that is very interested and will make the announcement of who it is once all parties agree on terms.

AREA UPDATES

I've heard from many of my followers missing my updates, glad to see you are enjoying them.  I've been very busy with my real estate business and am so glad (as most of you are) to see the rebound in the market.  Everywhere I go I see contractors busy building new homes, commercial projects, and parking garages, etc.

In the Cedarcrest corridor we have 2 new projects.  There is a drive-thru, family owned Pharmacy going up next to Turner Pediatric Dentistry.  They will be offering personal pharmacy services as well as delivery.

Next.....(drum role please) we have going in next to Mellow Mushroom on Cedarcrest Road and Cobb Parkway a new "Southern Cuisine, Farm to Table Restaurant".  Once the name has been decided I will post and try to get a sneak peak of their menu.

Ace Hardware will be opening soon at their new location on Dallas Acworth Highway.  The family owned company has been in the lumber industry for over 100 years and will be brining their expertise to Paulding County.   They will have not just Ace Hardware but Paulding Building Supply.  Their store will have a rocking chair front porch similar to Cracker Barrel and will have a warm family atmosphere throughout the store.  Stay tuned for grand opening events!

And last but certainly not least.  Most of you know Sever Group as being a Commercial Real Estate firm however what you may not know if that we also have a residential division and it's growing fast. Lake Point Sports Complex

Well I know it's been a while since I have updated my blog but there is some really exciting things happening just outside our North Paulding  area that I'm excited to share with everyone. Most of you have heard of the new LakePoint Sports Complex that is being developed in Emerson just north of us on Cedarcrest Road however I am excited to share with the details of what this Complex will be bringing to our area. The best way for me to describe it is a mini Disney World. If anyone has a business that they feel would do well at this location and have any contacts please send them my way I would love to introduce them to the developer who by the way is an honest and upstanding man.

CEDARCREST/COBB PARKWAY UPDATE

Ok so for all those inquiring minds as to what's going on at the Cedarcrest/Cobb Pkwy corner here it is and it's official from the owner/developer.  The site work you see going on is for 2 restaurants, one being as most people have heard, MELLOW MUSHROOM, and the other is being kept under wraps until everything is finalized however I am told that it is there is nothing out this way of it's type.

Now for the big news REGAL THEATER  has signed a contract to build at this location.  They will begin the first quarter of 2014 and expect to be completed the first quarter of 2015.  This is great news because of all the other business that will now be attracted to this area.  The market is stronger and there is more consumer confidence which is very good news after so many years of a down economy.

And on a side note TACO BELL will be coming in at the Kroger's where Chase Bank once was.

Sorry for the lack of communication lately,  I've been busy with starting my own Real Estate Office. With regards to the Whole Foods coming this way I'm sure most of you know by now that was inaccurate. Unfortunately it will many years before demographics in our area will support a store such as that. 

WHAT ISN'T A RUMOR IS....,

Crossroads Grill as you may have heard is under new management. The new management is associated with Marietta Diner and they have many of the same dishes and desserts. Be sure and drop in and check it out. 

Stay in tune.... I hope to have some exciting news soon with regards to a new restaurant chain coming to the Crossroads. I will announce as soon as the lease is finalized.
