Wow I can't believe how long it's been since the last time I've posted.  There has not been a lot going on until now in our area but now I'm excited.  Consume confidence is high and people are excited to start their new business or expand an expanding business.

Some have asked about what's going on at the Crossroads corner next to Auto Zone.  Well I am excited to announce that they are in the first phase of a three tenant retail building.  The building will have as Tenants 1) Moe's Southwest Grill, 2)Arby's 3) A Pet Supply Store.

I am also leasing the building on Cedarcrest Road and Harmony Grove Church Road.  I have several businesses that have presented a Letter of Intent (Offer) for space.  Once we have the leases secure I will reach back out to you and share the with you.

The county has put a moratorium on zoning land to Planned Residential Development (PRD).  This is the zoning that most of our sub-divisions are zoned however the county is looking at changing the requirements such as requiring the builder to build on a larger lot, more brick on the home ...
Our county is very pro-growth but they want growth in the right way.  I think you will be pleased with the outcome.  I'm proud that our Commissioners are pro-active and are committed to keeping involved in the growth of our county.

One last pieced of exciting new, well for me anyway :) .  I am honored to have been nominated as the Chairman of the Paulding County Zoning Board of Appeals.  I am grateful to be able to serve our county!
