CEDARCREST/COBB PARKWAY UPDATE

Ok so for all those inquiring minds as to what's going on at the Cedarcrest/Cobb Pkwy corner here it is and it's official from the owner/developer.  The site work you see going on is for 2 restaurants, one being as most people have heard, MELLOW MUSHROOM, and the other is being kept under wraps until everything is finalized however I am told that it is there is nothing out this way of it's type.

Now for the big news REGAL THEATER  has signed a contract to build at this location.  They will begin the first quarter of 2014 and expect to be completed the first quarter of 2015.  This is great news because of all the other business that will now be attracted to this area.  The market is stronger and there is more consumer confidence which is very good news after so many years of a down economy.

And on a side note TACO BELL will be coming in at the Kroger's where Chase Bank once was.

New Businesses

*Also, most of you know that Crossroads Grill is under new management and are associated with    Marietta Diner, if you haven't gone by and tried them be sure to stop by.  Their desserts are amazing!  *Still waiting for everything to finalize to make the announcement I mentioned last post so stay in tune.

Sorry for the lack of communication lately,  I've been busy with starting my own Real Estate Office. With regards to the Whole Foods coming this way I'm sure most of you know by now that was inaccurate. Unfortunately it will many years before demographics in our area will support a store such as that. 

WHAT ISN'T A RUMOR IS....,

Crossroads Grill as you may have heard is under new management. The new management is associated with Marietta Diner and they have many of the same dishes and desserts. Be sure and drop in and check it out. 

Stay in tune.... I hope to have some exciting news soon with regards to a new restaurant chain coming to the Crossroads. I will announce as soon as the lease is finalized.

AREA UPDATES

PARADISE DOUGHNUTS
Opening the first part of September.  This is the first Paradise Doughnut franchise in Georgia. Yeah!

I'm working on some other projects and will keep you updated.

It is vital that we exercise our privilege to vote.  This election is so important and I encourage each and every one to take the time to vote.  My belief is that in order to change our country it first starts with our county which effects our state thus has the potential to effect our country.

NEW DONUT FRANCHISE COMING

I have signed a new lease with Paradise Donuts a franchise, this will be the first Paradise Donuts franchise in Georgia .  They will be located in the Acworth Village Shopping Center behind the Kroger.  They will have a drive-thru to make ordering convenient and will have a relaxed atmosphere inside with couches as well as tables.  I will keep you updated as they start their build-out.

MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL AT BAY LEAF CAFE! Hey everyone just wanted to let you know I spoke with the owner of Bay Leaf last night and he asked me to let you know that any family that comes to eat at his restaurant this Sunday  MOM'S MEAL IS FREE (offer valid for 1 mom per party).  His food is sooo good and his latte's in my opinion are the best.  Try it and leave me some feed back

CEDARCREST & COBB PARKWAY UPDATE

EXCITING NEWS!! Just spoke with the owner of the property located at Cedercrest & 41, he informed me that they are beginning Phase I of an amazing shopping center.  He described it as a "glorified Avenues".  They will have restaurants, a movie theater and great shopping (as per the sign that's been up for several years).  Very exciting news isn't it!  I will keep you updated as I hear more of the specifics.  If anyone has any contacts of large box businesses that they think would be a fit please, by all means send them my way.
